Terms and Conditions
We at WhiteBox Systems want you to have nothing short of the best computer experience on your new system. The following terms govern the purchase of products from WhiteBox Systems. By submitting your order to WhiteBox Systems, you are accepting the terms and conditions of the sale.
Payment Methods
The following are the accepted methods of payment:
No C.O.D. orders will be accepted. Orders are processed ONLY when payment is verified and approved. If your method of payment is declined during the order, please contact us to correct the payment issue. All payments are in Canadian Dollars.

Warranty
All components of the system are covered by WhiteBox Systems for the period of time specified by the manufacturer, unless specified otherwise. The warranty varies depending on the product and the manufacturer. WhiteBox will provide general warranty information during quoting and a more detailed warranty information sheet upon delivery.
If any hardware fails within the first 14 days of delivery, WhiteBox Systems will retrieve the defective hardware and will replace the item free of charge. After 14 days, WhiteBox will retrieve the defective hardware and replace the item but all costs associated with the shipping of the hardware to the manufacturer will be charged to the customer. The time it takes for the replacement part to arrive is dependent on the shipping service and the manufacturer.
Note that the warranty is limited to what the manufacturer covers. This generally includes any hardware or software failures. The warranty will not cover any physical damage due to abuse or improper use of the product. This also includes any removal of warranty tags on the component itself. Operating Systems
If the customer purchases an operating system as a part of their build, WhiteBox Systems will install a trial version of the selected operating system. The operating system packaging will be delivered unopened to the customer along side their build to ensure that a genuine activation key was purchased. The customer is responsible for the activation of their operating system.
If the customer chooses a trial operating system, the trial will last a period of 30 days from the date of installation. After the trial period has expired, it is the customer's responsibility to purchase the appropriate registration key and register it with their system.
Shipping
WhiteBox Systems currently operates in Ottawa-Gatineau and the surrounding area. Once payment has been received, we will work towards completing your order in a timely matter. However, due to the high level of customization with each order please allow for 14–21 business days in order for us to receive the necessary components and build your system. Once completed, a member of our build team will contact you in order to find an available time to deliver your system to the address specified during the time the order was placed. Although we strive to serve all our customers, we are currently only able to deliver orders to addresses within the Ottawa-Gatineau area.
Order Cancellations & Changes
To provide the best service to our customers, we at WhiteBox Systems begin processing your order as soon as payment is received. If you wish to cancel your order before assembly takes place, there will be a restocking fee of 15% for the entire order. However, once assembly occurs, there are certain components that become final sale. Prior to placement of the order, WhiteBox Systems will notify the customer which components are classified as final sale. If you wish to cancel your order after assembly has occurred, the 15% restocking fee will be charged on all returnable items. Components that are not eligible for return will be delivered as they are the property of the customer. The flat-rate shipping fee is non-refundable.
Quotes issued by WhiteBox Systems’s representatives have an expiry date of 7 days from the issuing date.
Return Policy
There will be no returns available once the order has been delivered to the customer. Every system provided is final sale.
